It's got an engaging story line, and unique features for a point and click. One of my favourite in years. Really worth it.I can't full screen the game without a game breaking bug but it hasn't stopped me playing it.. This game is fantastic, the world and the characters are extremely unique. There\u2019s a bit of a twist with this game versus other point n click games, you have abilities that evolve depending on how you play the game. These make puzzles more interesting and it also brings a good amount of replay-ability to the game. 10\/10 would recommend :). Whispers of a Machine is a decent adventure game with simple plot, simple writing. It isn't amazing by any means, it won't blow you away nor will it be one of those titles you remember 5-10 years down the road as significant.I found the writing to be about average; can't say it stood out to be anything more than that. I do take issue with the rather poor ending, and the way the game shoe-horns 'Alex' into the plot in a way that isn't convincing, doesn't really get explained and doesn't make me 'care' either.All in all, a decent game that I would recommend during a sale.6/10. Cool game. Good graphics, nice soundtrack, and awesome voice acting. Pretty adult story, although might have been nice to explore the history of the setting and of the characters a little more. You get new abilities, based on how you play, and the ending depends on your choices at the end. There's only an auto-save system, so no reloading if you think you've messed something up or if you want to try a different approach. You can die, but you reload as the scene starts so there's no real loss of play time.Kinda hoping there are more games in this setting, as it does have a lot of future potential.. OH GOD SO GOOD. 3 hours in and I'm loving this game. Can't wait to see where it goes next. Story, art, voice acting, main character, character's abilities - fantastic.
